The Youth Olympic Games run between August 14-16 with Handball in the second week of competition, giving the girls extra training opportunities for the two overseas based members of the team from Sweden to train with the team. NSW is represented by Sally Cash, Annalese Smith, Claire Dennerley, Taylee Lewis, Tegan Poulton, Brianna Keyes, Bella Faasau, Alice Keighley, Jay Huriwai, Paulini Tawamacala, Coach Jessica Fearnside and Manager Michelle Poulton. Bronwyn Thompson coordinated for the AHF from Australia and player Sonja Miskovic had to withdraw due to injury sustained at Junior World Championships. (See photo in Gallery)
